Not Enough Change in Senate After Elections

Many people, including me, hope that the November elections would bring big changes to the US Senate. Big changes in the Senate could mean changes in the bankruptcy law, to help people with their student loans.

We did NOT get as much change as people expected. So if you hoped to be able to file bankruptcy to clear your student loans, the law isn't going to be in your favor anytime soon.

How hard is it to clear your student loans in bankruptcy now? Just about impossible. Here's a rundown on the current law from the November 7, 2020, New York Times.
